Get a Transifex Account

This is for people wishing to be tranlators.

In order to get a Transifex account specifically associated with jDownloads you need to use one of the following links

jD2.5  http://www.transifex.com/projects/p/jdownloads-s2/

jD 3.2  https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/jdownloads-s3/

This will bring up an initial 'sign up' panel such as below.

  Transifex signup-AA

After clicking on the place indicated you should be taken to the next step of the 'sign up'.
Fill in the required details and click on the Create button.
  Transifex signup-B

The next page should be the 'Thanks' panel advising that an email has been sent.
  Transifex signup-C

After receiving the verification email and using the link in that email, you will then be asked for more information.
It is important that you get this form correct so please take care.
  Transifex signup-DD

When the above form has been sumitted then an email is sent to the Project Manager(s) asking for approval to join, or start, the translation team or teams.
As this might take a little time for them to respond please be patient.   You will then get an email something like
"You have been accepted to the team jDownloads (for Joomla)[1] for French (France).
   [1]: https://www.transifex.com/organization/JoomlaTranslators/teams  "

So now you can login and start translating (See Translating with Transifex - the basics for details).  But if you are joining a team it would be a good idea to contact the Coordinator for that languge. You can see the team members by using the above link and navigating to your language.
