Introduction
Additional layouts based on a more modern style were introduced with jDowndloads 4.1 . These are all 'Grid-type' layouts, that is they show the information in a grid.
Categories Grid Layout
There is only one grid type Categories Layout, namely Standard Bootstrap 5 Grid Categories Layout v4.1.
It shows how many 'files' (Downloads) and Subcategries are included in each Category.
Subcategories Grid Layout
As with categories there is only one subcategories layout, namely "Standard Bootstrap 5 Subcategories Layout - Multiple Column List v4.1".
In this example there were three subcategories, one with 3 downloads and the other two with one each.

Downloads Grid Layout
There are two Standard Bootstrap 5 Files Downloads Layouts:
- Standard Bootstrap 5 Files Layout - Minimal Compact v4.1
- Standard Bootstrap 5 Files Layout - Minimal Compact with Checkboxes v4.1
Both show icon, title, date, file size, hits and a download link. Also there are symbols for new, top and updated. Also includes page navigation for Downloads that are directly above the display. On a mobile device there are columns that may be hidden.

This shows, as expected, various details about the Download such as illustrated opposite.

As usual this shows the list of files selected for downloading as illustrated opposite.
